Setting out our sustainability goals and ambitions as an organisation until 2030, and our commitment to promote the concept of sustainability with everything we do.

View our Second Nature strategy

Sustainability has been at the heart of ADAS’s work for decades

One of the core guiding principles of our parent company, RSK Group, is ‘promoting the concept of sustainability in all that we do’.

As we continue to grow, the way we approach and govern sustainability will evolve to ensure we fully understand and act on our collective impacts, meeting changing regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

Second Nature reflects our ambition to mainstream sustainability so that it becomes the instinctive way we operate across the group, across our value chain and beyond.

Our five core themes

These five core themes reflect the responsibilities that we owe as a business to our stakeholders – our people, our value chain, society and the environment – and how these are supported by appropriate finance and governance structures.

Finance and governance

Finance and governance

The way we run our business and drive responsibility for sustainability throughout ADAS has a huge bearing on successful outcomes.

Our environment

Our environment

By understanding impacts, we can develop effective strategies to make efficient use of all resources, minimise waste, reduce our carbon emissions.

Our people

Our people

Our entire operation depends on the people who work for us. Taking care of our staff and helping them realise their potential remains our priority.

Our society

Our society

We recognise that our work can bring benefits to people in the communities in which we work, and we seek to maximise these through our projects.

Our value chain

Our value chain

We recognise that we do not work in isolation, we share responsibility for any social and environmental impacts in our value chain with our clients.
