Croptec Seminars

Crop Nutrition Seminar 11.00-11.50am both days

At the Crop Nutrition Session sponsored by YARA, Head of ADAS Agronomics Dr Daniel Kindred will present ‘Making Nitrogen work smarter: Delivering profitable solutions’. Nitrogen use efficiency is seen as a key driver of improving farming’s carbon footprint but what does smarter N use look like? How can we regulate N losses and make better use of available nitrogen? Chaired by Yara’s Head of Agronomy Mark Tucker, Dr Kindred will cover how to make better use of available Nitrogen and how technology could help deliver profitable solutions.

The YEN Awards

The Cereal and Oilseed Yield Enhancement Network (YEN) Awards are open to everyone at Day One of The Croptec Show at 3.30pm. With 260 cereal entries and 70 oilseed entries, we will find out who managed to achieve the greatest yields and greatest potential yields of 2021. ADAS crop physiologists will offer technical insights into harvest 2021.

After the award presentation, the winners will share with the audience their strategies and routes to success.
