With sustainability ever high on the agenda for those working in the food and drink sector, ADAS is excited to be sponsoring the Net Zero Initiative of the Year category at this year’s Food and Drink Federation Awards.

As one of the UK’s leading research consultancies dedicated to enhancing food security, ADAS has long championed the need for sustainable solutions to boost British food and drink production. It is an ambition we share with those shortlisted for the Net Zero Initiative Award – companies that are all implementing innovative approaches to reducing greenhouse gases. From maximising efficiencies to promoting environmental awareness with staff and suppliers, they are all actively demonstrating their commitment to achieving a net zero supply chain.

Congratulations to the FDF Awards Net Zero Initiative 2024 finalists:

  • British Sugar
  • Eden Geothermal
  • True Origin
  • Weetabix Food Company
  • Nomad Foods

Christophe Lavialle, Food and Drink Business Development Director at ADAS and RSK Group commented:

It’s inspiring to see the tremendous effort, energy, and quality invested in the Net Zero initiative submissions. With such innovative projects, the future of decarbonisation in the Food & Drink industry shines brightly. Good luck to all finalists.

The annual Food and Drink Awards takes place Thursday 19 September at The Historic Roundhouse in London. 600 guests from across the industry expected to attend. More information about the event is available on the Food and Drink Federation website.

We wish all the 2024 finalists the very best of luck! We look forward to seeing you on the big night!
