BS 5837 advice for trees on development sites
Expert arboricultural advice for BS5837 recommendations
Our arboriculture team has a vast amount of experience in assisting our clients with all aspects of the design and construction process highlighted within BS5837. The advice may include undertaking a tree survey of a potential development site, providing pre-planning constraints and design advice within a tree report or producing arboricultural impact assessments and tree protection plans.
Once planning permission has been granted, our team will prepare detailed arboricultural method statements, which local planning authorities may request as a planning condition. Our post-planning advice can also include site monitoring and watching brief work for particularly sensitive areas of development, including any agreed work within a tree’s root protection area (RPA).
There is often a requirement to work closely with our colleagues in ecology, EIA and planning, landscape and archaeology. We are also supported by cartographers, CAD technicians and our environmental modelling and GIS team.
