Archaeological monitoring of groundworks during a project’s construction stage is often required as a condition of planning permission

ADAS’ experienced archaeologists conduct wide-ranging monitor work, including intrusive groundworks, site stripping or demolition work. We work alongside construction contractors and the local authority archaeologist to minimise delays. Clear communication is important, and our advice is unbiased, straightforward and practical. If we identify an issue, we liaise quickly with the client and coordinate a solution.

Our monitoring reports are clear and thorough, tailored to the development to best ensure the client fulfils a planning condition.
