Geophysical surveys are a non-intrusive method of evaluation which can help determine the archaeological potential of a development site.

They are usually requested by the local authority during the planning process as part of a staged programme of evaluation following the completion of a desk-based assessment and before a trial trenching evaluation is carried out.

Our archaeology team provide advice on the most effective technique to use for the ground conditions on your development site and carry out a survey in accordance with Historic England and Chartered Institute for Archaeologists Standards and Guidance.
