Dr Rebecca King is a senior livestock consultant in the ADAS livestock team with in-depth welfare knowledge of intensive pig and poultry production. Becky is a specialist in experimental design, on-farm data collection and synthesising evidence-based advice, and since joining ADAS has led on projects for Oaklands Eggs and Defra.
Prior to joining ADAS, Becky has held both scientific and policy advisor roles in farm animal welfare at Defra, and obtained her PhD in pig farrowing behaviour and welfare at Newcastle University.
